Herring Run Exploration! Ages 7-11
The Recreation Department has teamed up with the Natural Resources Department for a 1-hour hands-on learning session at the Herring Run in Plymouth. Participants will learn about the protected River Herring fish population! They will start with learning about how to conduct a fish count and pit tag, then they will walk the town brook to see how the fish migrate
and will end with a closer look at the fish ladder! They will also be able to open an eel trap to see if there are any glass eels inside. Participants will meet at the Jenny Grist Mill for drop
off and pick up. Please make sure to wear rain boots and dress according to the weather!
*Registration is per participant
