Youth Baseball Clinic

This clinic will be focused on fielding and throwing fundamentals- this will include basic instruction on proper fielding and throwing mechanics that are emphasized for all levels of baseball. Instruction will vary based on age/skill, but all players will be put through drills and exercises that are essential for developing proper fielding and throwing technique.

It will also be focused on hitting fundamentals- this will include basic instruction on proper hitting mechanics that are emphasized for all levels of baseball. Instruction will vary based on age/skill level, but all players will be put through drills and exercises that include tee work, soft toss and live batting practice, all of which are essential for developing proper hitting form and technique.

**Please make sure to bring a baseball glove.

COVID GUIDELINES:
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE OPERATING UNDER PHASE 3 GUIDELINES. 
- UNDER PHASE 3 GUIDELINES, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED IF THE PARTICIPANTS CANNOT MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE (6 FT APART). WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO STRUCTURE ALL DRILLS AND ACTIVITIES TO BE SOCIALLY DISTANT. KIDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR THEIR MASKS UPON ARRIVAL AND DURING THE PROGRAM IF THEY CANNOT REMAIN SOCIALLY DISTANT.
- NO DUGOUT USE ALLOWED
- SPECTATORS MUST REMAIN SOCIALLY DISTANT AROUND THE FIELD WHEN THEY WATCH, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AT THIS TIME IN FORGES PER THE SELECTMEN 

-INSTRUCTORS WILL WEAR A MASK
- MUST BRING YOUR OWN GLOVE. YOU ARE ENCOURGED TO BRING YOUR OWN HELMET AND BAT TO LESSON THE POSSIBILITY OF SHARING EQUIPMENT.
- ALL EQUIPMENT WILL BE SANITIZED AFTER EACH GROUP ROTATES TO A NEW STATION.

-SIGNED COVID-19 WAIVER FOR TURNED INTO THE REC. OFFICE (NEW WAIVER FOR EVERY ACTIVITY). CHILDREN WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL THE COVID-19 IS RECEIVED



A minimum of 8 participants is needed to run this program.

Registration and Refund Policies
  • Registration: Student is only considered registered (and spot reserved) in a program once payment is received. Online registration & payment is the quickest and easiest way to secure a spot in a program. Registration is also accepted in our office and by mail on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Refunds: There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds/credits and all requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the start of the program. (There are no refunds for activities that require a uniform or jersey after it is ordered).
  • Age Requirement: Participants must be the minimum age for the program on the first scheduled day of class.
  • Proof of Age: A document showing date of birth (birth certificate, passport, physical form or other official document) must be provided for each child when registering for their first program with us.
  • Non-Resident Fee: There is a $10 per participant per program surcharge for non-Plymouth residents. To be considered a resident, one must reside in or own a residence within the Town of Plymouth limits at the time registration is submitted.
  • Confirmations: Please keep a record of your registration. Confirmations are emailed as soon as your registration is processed; no further confirmations or reminders are provided.
  • Weather Cancellations: Due to any weather cancellations, programs could be scheduled a make class that extends beyond the original end date. No refunds or credits will be given for make up dates.
